Since vitamin E is an anticoagulant, amounts of vitamin E (400 IU or greater) can potentiate blood-thinning drugs such as coumadin and should not be used concurrently. Large doses of vitamin E are contraindicated in hypertension. Eleuthero in large quantities is contraindicated in hypertension (only a small amount is used in this synergistic formula). Use caution in pregnancy.
